Les 4 infatiguables de Grand Detour, déjà remarqués à travers leurs autres formations (Bökanövski, Mickey Randall...), et leur premier disque, n’ont pas arrêté de tourner pendant les 2 dernières années. Ils reviennent aujourd’hui avec un nouvel album, plus abouti et complet. Gorgé de leur expérience live, les 9 titres qui le compose sont le reflet d’une digestion maîtrisée d’influences, oscillant entre post-rock et math-rock, le tout teinté d’émo. Toujours uniquement instrumental, Grand Detour à sû se forger une personnalité dans cette scène française chargée mais ingénieuse. N’hésitant pas à être plus sauvage que contemplatif, Tripalium navigue habilement entre les rives d’un rock cinématographique, et la rage explosive propre aux musiques plus hargneuses.
